Caroline fell in love with yoga, after participating in classes and being amazed by how energised and clear-minded she felt after each session, and how it helped her lower back ache and stress levels.
Since studying for her first teaching qualification 15 years ago, she has trained in many different styles of yoga, and taught thousands of classes but her favourite has always been Freestyle which allows her creative side to run wild without being tied down to any strict rules. She loves keeping up to date with the latest scientific research on biomechanics, mobility and movement and incorporating this into her classes and she combines this with sharing both her own and others’ thoughts and writings around the intricacies of the practice of yoga, while staying true to its origins and roots and why it means so much to so many people.
Caroline has only been teaching a small number of classes and 1 to 1 sessions, since having her third child but is currently expanding her timetable. She is thrilled to be a part of Beach Yoga Fest, and to be able to share the benefits of yoga with as many people as possible. Caroline is excited to be sharing some yoga sessions with a twist which are influenced by her dancing past and her passion for music. Her goal is to make sure everyone finishes their sessions feeling more balanced, both in body and in mind and generally feeling wonderful!
A lively yoga flow to uplifting beach tunes finishing with a delicious, slow stretch and relaxation. Lose yourself in the music and let the Ibiza beats carry you from one asana to the next so you feel connected to mind, breath and body and finish with a huge smile on your face!
A combination of high intensity interval training (HIIT) and yoga asana practice. Bursts of feel-good, cardio-based flows that will get your heart pumping and your muscles working followed by recovery periods of slow-flow, deep stretches to relieve any tension. Combining yoga with HIIT gives all the benefits of interval training without the high impact meaning less stress on the body. It also encourages the use of deep yoga breathing to train the lungs and breathing muscles to operate deeply and consciously, delivering more oxygen to the body more efficiently both during the session and beyond.
A beautiful fusion of ballet and yoga focussing on strength, alignment and balance. Traditional ballet style moves intertwined with all your favourite yoga asanas designed to strengthen and lengthen the muscles with a particular focus on the lower body.
