About Melissa

Melissa has been practicing yoga for over 20 years & has previously been lucky enough to travel the world as cabin crew, learning from some amazing teachers in far away places, bringing a varied influence to her teaching.  She is also pre & postnatally trained & teaches Yoga Nidra.  She is passionate about sharing the magic of yoga.  It provides us with the tools to navigate our way through what life throws at us more easily.  Melissa taught at the last Beach Yoga Fest & is so excited to be back this year! 

To dive deeper you can join her Gentle Flow online or at The Retreat New Forest for Slow Vinyasa Flow classes & Day Retreats monthly & also outdoors at Barton on Sea cliff top. Her classes are a mindful flow for all levels set to music.  Linking breath with movement to quiet the mind, Pranayama (breathing exercises), incorporating philosophy, flow yoga & guided relaxation to leave you feeling energised yet calm & relaxed.

Funky Beats Flow – Linking breath with movement in a fun, fluid, dynamic flowing sequence set to music for all levels.  

Meditation – A guided meditation to focus the mind, bring awareness, calm & clarity to set you up for the day.  

Wake Up Flow – Supercharge your day with an energising flow for all levels.  Linking breath with mindful movement to quiet the mind but wake up the body.  

Pre Natal Yoga – Gentle practice to support emotionally & physically to listen to the body, feel empowered & connected with baby.  Learn breathing techniques & relaxation (hypnobirthing elements & Yoga Nidra) for easier & more comfortable labour.
